Search String: Enter the string to search for in this field. The search string can be a simple search or a regular expression (be sure to check the 'Regular Expression' checkbox). To create a binary search using special characters, click the button to the right of this field. If you create a Binary search, the string, "Binary mode -->>", is displayed in the search string field. When you are done with this field, the Replace string and the Case Sensitive, Regular Expression and Match Whole Word settings, click "Apply" to save the information to your script.

Note that in the current example, the highlighted line Search/Replace list makes use of Regular Expression search using the * operator.
